Tropical Depression 2 Forms

tropics

Tropical Depression 2 has formed in the central Atlantic Ocean and is currently moving west-northwest. The storm has a chance to become Tropical Storm Bertha later this week if it keeps strengthening. Currently, the storm poses no threat to Brownwood and only those in the Carribean Sea should be on alert. If the storm does wind up impacting the Brownwood area, residents should be prepared for heavy rain, strong winds, flooding, lightning, and possible tornadoes. If anything changes, or if the storm becomes a threat to Brown County, we hope you’ll hear it here first!
